Back Yourself!!! How to grow your substack ;)

Three Years Sober and behind the scenes of stacking.

I started my Substack in what I will call "my year of the undoing," hoping it would improve my writing, having only written standup and scripts.

I've learnt a lot writing, but I thought I'd give a behind-the-scenes look into my year of the UNDOING as I've just hit the three-year sober mark. For anyone on their sobriety journey, I hope it's beneficial that I share honestly about it, because life isn't always straightforward and some years are more demanding than others.

I entered Substack and the third year of sobriety with all the enthusiasm one has when one hits such a significant milestone. Maybe my confidence was brash. I was confident and terrified but prepared to uproot myself in pursuit of screenwriting.
